Herbi Writer Reports
Herbi Writer can show a basic report which shows which of the student's letters were considered to be correct and which were considered incorrect. To get a report of the student's activity, follow the steps below.
Click the Settings button, and then click the "Student" tab in the Settings window that appears.
Type the student's name, and check the "Show the student's name" check box if it's not already checked.
Write some letters in such a way that some of the letters are evaluated as being correct, and some as incorrect.
Click the "Statistics" button at the top right of the Herbi Writer window, and see a "Statistics Viewer" window appear.
Select the student's name from the dropdown list near the top left of the window.
A report of the student's activity then appears. The picture below shows the following information contained in the report:
The student's name, for example "Michael".
The set of letters which contains the sample letters being drawn, "Lower case letters".
Which letters were drawn by the student, and a "Succeeded" value indicating whether the student's letter was evaluated as being correct or incorrect.
A summary showing the total number of letters which were considered to be correct, and the total number which were considered to be incorrect.

Using the report, it may be practical to review the student's activity to identify which letters are posing the most difficulty. The Herbi Writer Report feature will be enhanced in the future to make it easy to view the student progress over a longer period of time. Today the report only shows details since Herbi Writer was last started.
